Designed by Omer Arbel, the Series 28 surface mounted light by Bocci is constructed from a complex glass blowing technique where air is gently introduced and then removed from a glass matrix (which is heated and then rapidly cooled). The end result is a distorted spherical shape with a composed collection of inner layers, one of which is made of opaque milk glass and houses a low voltage lamp. Such a unique design offers a warm illumination to any space, have it as a single lighting fixture for a lovely glow or have a few to create an atmospheric and consistent lighting decor. Relying on air bubble formations to create its shape and look, each light is guaranteed to be unique which only adds value to its quality and design.
